Training Opportunity: Fundamentals of Homeopathy for the Childbearing Year

Nibezun is excited to partner with Homeopaths Without Borders to hold our first Fundamentals of Homeopathy for the Childbearing Year course. If you are a certified or licensed professional who provides care for pregnant people, this is a great opportunity to expand your skill set and medicinal knowledge.

The Fundamentals of Homeopathy for the Childbearing Year course is a 54-hour theoretical and clinical training program designed to integrate homeopathic medical care into healthcare services that support people during their childbearing experience. The curriculum follows the three stages of childbearing: pregnancy, labor and birth, and postpartum needs of parent and newborn. Participants learn the classical principles, methodologies, and procedures of homeopathy. 

Key Competencies and Skills

  • Philosophical concepts of homeopathy 

  • Pharmacy concepts of homeopathic medicines 

  • Understanding characteristic patterns and uses of 47 homeopathic medicines 

  • Case-taking and documentation 

  • Determining the potency, method of administration, and frequency of repetition 

  • Follow up consultations and evaluation of client response 

  • Prescribing the best indicated medicines for common and urgent complaints during pregnancy, labor and delivery, post-partum and the newborn period. 

Eligibility

  • This course is for certified or licensed professionals who are currently providing clinical care to pregnant people. 

  • Applicants must be able to attend all four two-day sessions. 

  • Priority given to Wabanaki professionals then to Indigenous professionals located in the northeast US and then to BIPOC professionals.
